Music Lineup Announced for 2011 MidSummer’s Dream Festival

The directors of MidSummer’s Dream are happy to announce the musical lineup for this years event. Thanks to the hard work of Music Coordinator Dave Scoggin, we are fortunate to enjoy an eclectic mix of some of southern Oregon’s finest musicians on two stages over the course of the two day festival.

2011 MidSummer’s Dream Festival

Family fun for all ages at MidSummer's Dream Art & Music Festival.

The Seventh Annual “MidSummer’s Dream – Ashland’s Premiere Art & Music Festival” is scheduled to take place on June 11 and 12, 2011 at the Briscoe ArtWing Grounds, 265 North Main, in Ashland, Oregon. The theme for this years event is “Creating Paradigm Shift”. Over 75 regional artists and artisans will be at the event showing their handcrafted creations and art-forms. Two stages of music will showcase some of the areas best musical talent (Stayed tuned for our full schedule of music coming in the next few days.).

This is the first blog entry for the event, with many more coming as we approach the festival. We are one month out from the festival dates and the volunteers and event coordinators are working overtime to make this years event a huge success. If you are interested in getting involved in this years event as a volunteer there is plenty of work to be done. Go to our main website and click on “Volunteers” in the header. We are still accepting applications from artists and artisans at the time of this posting, so please go to the aforementioned website and click on “Application” to download an application (there is a link for food vendor, or craft vendor so be sure to download the proper application). Please fill it out the paperwork and mail it as soon as possible because space is very limited.
